Seven Days. One Mission.

From November 21–28, you'll join a small group of 16 storytellers aboard the Scuba Spa - a luxury liveaboard in the heart of the Maldives. This isn't a typical dive trip. It's an immersive masterclass in capturing the ocean's beauty and sharing its story with the world.

Every day brings workshops on editing, color grading, technical settings, and filmmaking. You'll dive together, review footage, ask questions, share meals and dive with models and marine life. But most importantly, you'll become part of a community of people who believe the ocean's voice matters.

Your mentors are experienced ocean storytellers who've built careers documenting the underwater world. They're here to guide you, not judge you. Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time, already have experience, or consider yourself advanced - there's something in this trip for you.

The Scuba Spa partnership guarantees a spacious, comfortable boat with everything you need to focus on learning and creating.

This is a collaborative community, not a competition. Behind the Mask Academy has spent years building a framework where ocean lovers can develop their craft, find their voice, and connect with mentors and peers who share their passion.

We believe the ocean needs more storytellers — people brave enough to express what they see and feel underwater, and generous enough to bring that love into other people's hearts. That's what this trip is about.
